We're Matthew and Rae, the owners of Premier Home Watch of Mesquite.
Like many of our clients, we know what it's like to leave home and wonder if everything will be okay while you're away. Whether you're gone for a few weeks, a few months, or an entire season, there's always that little voice in the back of your mind asking, 'I hope everything is okay at the house.'
As full-time Mesquite residents, we're here when you can't be. We provide regular property visits, detailed reports, prompt communication, and local oversight when something needs attention. Whether it's checking for leaks, monitoring after a storm, keeping an eye on your vehicles and recreational equipment, verifying that work has been completed while you're away, or helping ensure your home is ready for your return, we're committed to treating your property with the same care and attention we'd want for our own.
Our Story
Over the years, we've owned and managed properties and operated Airbnb rentals. What started as helping friends and neighbors keep an eye on their homes while they were away gradually grew through word of mouth. People shared our name with others because they knew we would pay attention, communicate, and genuinely care about their property. Through those experiences, we learned that Home Watch is about much more than walking through a house with a checklist. It's about noticing when something doesn't look right and addressing small concerns before they become costly problems.
The idea for Premier Home Watch of Mesquite became even more personal after we returned home from a trip and discovered our backyard had flooded because of a broken sprinkler head. What could have been a quick repair turned into a swampy mess simply because nobody was there to notice it. It was a frustrating reminder that homes don't stop having problems just because we're away.
That experience made us think about all the other things that can happen when a property sits unattended. A golf cart that won't start because of a tripped breaker. A dead vehicle battery after months away. A garage door that suddenly won't open. A small leak that quietly becomes a much larger problem. These aren't major disasters, they're everyday issues that can quickly turn a long-awaited return to Mesquite into a frustrating to-do list.
